CHARITY 4 CHORES
Al-Iman School NJHS students partnered with Helping Hand and supported needy families during the month of Ramadan.
Al-Iman School (K-8) was successful at raising $3,525.00
NJHS students received overview of the project from one of the Helping Hand officials and briefed each classroom (K-8) about the project.
I believed many of our students experienced the collective strength of helping and supporting those in need.
Ramadan Connect 3.0
6th grade students participated in Ramadan Connect this year:
Ramadan Connect is a global cultural e-Exchange with Muslim students around the world
The goal of ISLA’s Ramadan Connect is to allow Muslim students to appreciate and celebrate both the similarities that bind all Muslims together and the unique differences that result from our cultural diversity.
Each week a ISLA will post something for students to reflect on and act upon related to the theme. Throughout, students will connect with other young Muslim brothers and sisters around the world by sharing and posting their responses.
